What is your story—and how can a T-shirt help you share it?
Girls Inc. of New Hampshire is one of our amazing community partners, and every summer we get to spend time with the young women in their Young Women’s Leadership Program. This program is an eight-week summer leadership camp and year-round initiative for girls entering 7th through 9th grade. Through career exploration, college visits, community projects, personal finance, and other hands-on experiences, the program helps young women build leadership skills and confidence.
This year, we talked about something we think about a lot here at Mint: What story does your shirt tell? I’ve always been interested in the stories behind custom apparel. Whether it’s an entrepreneur starting a business, a nonprofit supporting a cause, or a youth sports organization bringing a team together, custom apparel can help people share what matters to them and feel connected to something bigger. It’s the way we at Mint can help show–not tell–what is important to you.
Together, we explored the stories these young women want to tell about who they are and who they’re becoming. We also talked about the messages we tell ourselves and how positive words can help us face challenges, recognize our potential, and keep moving forward.
The group turned those ideas into a shirt all about courage, strength, unity, and supporting one another as they chase their hopes and dreams. We loved helping bring their design to life and printing shirts they can wear as a reminder of the story they created together. 💚
